To celebrate the founding of Fort Boonesborough in 1775 there will be daily portrayals of Boonesborough “Firsts”, pioneer demonstrations, speakers, book signings with authors, period vendors, period music, pioneer and Native American camps and much more. There will be food trucks and shuttles to the Fort Replica. This event will be held along the Kentucky River near the original fort site. Admission is free for the activities at the original fort site, but regular admission charges apply to tour the working fort replica.
