What is the process?
SAR, The Kentucky State Society and local Chapters, like the Lafayette Chapter, are male lineage societies who’s members have traced their family lineage to a Revolutionary War Patriot. You must first apply and be accepted by the National Society, located in Louisville, KY prior to being inducted into a local chapter.
If you know a local member, ask them to refer you to our chapter’s registrar who will assist you in obtaining the proper paperwork to begin the process.
If you have already traced your lineage, and documented that research, the hardest part is over.
